Client platform · review sheet

What we are building

A shared platform for venture fund finance teams.

How it is built

Two parts

Data foundation

  • Monthly Carta snapshots stay unchanged.
  • Each figure keeps its source record.
  • One dictionary defines each term.
  • The server checks every permission.

Modules

  • Each module fits the platform the same way.
  • Ken's firm switches base modules for each client.
  • Client admins can switch on live add-ons after confirming their terms. No staff approval is needed.

A live add-on turns on in both portals immediately after client-admin confirmation. Coming-soon, globally off, and Owner-disabled add-ons cannot be activated.

Data flow from Carta snapshot to client and staff screens A monthly snapshot is saved unchanged with a fingerprint. Source records support facts and evidence, which connect to a shared term dictionary, modules, server permissions, and screens. Inspect traces back to the source record. Carta monthly snapshot Saved unchanged Fingerprint and source records kept Source record Kept with the saved snapshot Recorded fact + evidence The data boundary for every module Shared term dictionary One meaning for each exposed field Modules Server permission check Every request is checked Staff and client screens

Inspect follows a figure's evidence back to its source record.
